Why maternity photos matter?
Your bump season is such a short chapter — and it changes week by week. A maternity session is a chance to slow down, celebrate your body, and capture this “in-between” moment before your little one arrives. These photos become part of your child’s story (and yours) forever.
When to book your maternity session
Best time: 34–36 weeks
This is when your bump is beautifully round and you’re usually still comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the session.
Earlier sessions are welcome too (especially for twins, high-risk pregnancies, or if you’re feeling uncomfortable later on). If you’re unsure, I’ll help you choose the best date.

FAQ
Can my partner and children be included?
Yes, absolutely. Your partner and children are more than welcome to join the session at no extra cost. I always allow time for a mix of solo maternity portraits and family moments.
What should I wear to my maternity session?
Once you’re booked, you’ll receive a styling guide with outfit suggestions, colour palettes, and tips on what photographs best.
You’ll also have access to my client wardrobe, which includes flattering maternity dresses you’re welcome to borrow.
Do you provide hair and makeup?
Hair and makeup are not included, but I’m happy to recommend trusted local artists if you’d like to book this separately. Many mums love having it done for an extra confidence boost.
How long does a maternity session take?
Sessions usually run for 45–60 minutes, allowing time for outfit changes, different poses, and a relaxed pace — especially if partners or children are involved.
Where is the studio located?
My studio is located in Nerang, Gold Coast.
Outdoor sessions take place at carefully chosen Gold Coast locations with beautiful natural light.
What if it rains on the day of an outdoor session?
If the weather isn’t ideal, we can reschedule or switch to a studio session — no stress. I always keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your shoot.
When will I receive my photos?
Your personalised online gallery will be delivered within 1–2 weeks after your session. From there, you can download your images and select any additional photos if you wish.
How do I book my maternity session?
To secure your session, simply send an enquiry and I’ll guide you through the booking process.
A retainer is required to lock in your date, with the remaining balance due before your session.
